To make the sachet envelopes, you will cut out the template. Glue the sides of the envelopes together with a glue stick, leaving the top flap open for adding the scented rice mixture. Once the mixture is inside, you can seal the top flap with glue or tape.

Helpful Tips

  • Either white or brown uncooked rice can be used.
  • These envelope packets can be printed on normal white office paper. However, you can use a thicker weight of paper to make the envelopes feel more expensive.
  • Increase the amount of essential oil used if you would like a stronger fragrance.
  • Do not overstuff the sachet envelopes. They won’t close easily if too full.
  • Seal the flaps of the envelopes with a glue stick, craft glue or double-sided tape. Hot glue is not recommended.
  • Essential oils will absorb through paper and can transfer onto a surface that the sachet is laying on. The oils can damage the surface.
